Involvement

Regular Workers |
There are those who serve as missionaries and staff with Coastal Missions. Regular and full-time workers have more than one area of responsibility. Those not on the field serve as support staff to those who are. Those not on the field engage in base, office or shop duties and many other things in a variety of settings. |
Volunteers |
There is an array of volunteers, summer volunteers, one-day-a-week volunteers, and special vocation volunteers. There are yet others who make themselves available when needed for gardening, canning, sewing, cooking, or whatever. And there are those who volunteer yet are also being trained. And there are volunteers who are already trained and able to take part with regular workers. Volunteers and workers include only Canadians or persons authorized to work in Canada. |
Training |
Training is both incidental and structured within a setting of year-around on-going ministry. One desiring missionary training begins as a volunteer. Apply by writing to Coastal Missions, P.O. Box 77, Chemainus BC, V0R 1K0. |
Members |
Regular members of the Coastal Missions Society participate in decision making and at times take part in the work. |
Prayer |
Many pray for the work and workers of Coastal Missions. And likewise, in reverse, many involved with Coastal Missions pray for others. |
Financial Giving |
Coastal Missions does not appeal for money. No worker is asked to raise support. Yet it is by the generosity of many caring ones that Coastal Missions operates. Donation receipts are honored in Canada and the U.S. Donations not stipulated are most useful to Coastal Missions. |
Keep In Touch |
Anyone can write to Coastal Missions. Coastal Missions normally writes back. General mailings go to those who desire to be included. There is never an obligation attached to anything sent out by Coastal Missions. |
