Victor Hookins - person of strength and character - always willing and able to lend a hand.  Victor passed away April 23, 2002.

Top photo shows a 1958 Rolls Royce marine diesel on its shop stand. This engine came out of the "old" Coastal Messenger in 1987 after 27 years of service.  Here, in 1998, you see it on its shop stand, revitalized, ready to go in the "new" Coastal Messenger - where it served another 7 years.
